Graduate program in economics
The graduate program, Advanced Economics, provides the student with a solid basis in economic theory, economics, statistics and econometrics. The program also provides the student with quantitative and qualitative skills that will allow the student to analyse empirical data and evaluate public and economic policy. The multidisciplinary training will provide the student with ample opportunities to specialize in his or her's field of interest including development, education, labour, taxation, political economics and more.
The Advanced Economics program provides the student with highly demanded skills for qualified analytical and investigational work at public authorities and in the public administration, at research institutes, banks and other financial firms, in policy organisations, think tanks, consulting firms, et cetera, both in France and internationally. (ex: Stanford University, NYU, INSEE, Banque de France, HEC Lausanne, etc.)
Each year, the "Rencontres autour des métiers de l'économie" are organized to facilitate exchanges between alumni of the program and current students, so that they can learn more about the various career opportunities available upon completion of their studies. Furthermore, students from the Department of Economics are invited to attend all academic events organized by the CERGIC, including workshops, seminars, and masterclasses (more information available here).

Eligibility requirements
Academic requirements
A Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) in economics, econometrics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related subject, from an internationally recognised university. Also required is a solid knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistics.
Language requirements
Proficiency in English equivalent to the CEFR C1 level. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous studies in English. Detailed instructions on how to provide evidence of your English proficiency are available here.
Selection
Candidates are selected based on a a cumulative assessment of previous academic result, and the relevance of previous studies in relation to the program.
Fees
