The Department of Economics is particularly happy for our colleague, Mathieu COUTTENIER, who was selected as recipient to a European Research Council Consolidator (ERC) grant. The grant was awarded for Mathieu's project "ArtiMinDev" - a research project that intends to map artisanal mines in Sub-Saharan African and further seeks to analyze their socio-economic impact.
